| Corbett Forest are full of exotic Flora.
• Visit to water hole Nature walk adjacent to the resort, up to remote and secluded natural water hole with a naturalist, who will define the flora you will be crossing on foot i.e. Rohini trees (Mallotas Phillippensis) which is used for tilak by Kumaoni villagers / is also deliciously eaten by elephants, its fruit ripes in the month of March, April / Bel (Aiglecathechu) medicinal plant which is used mostly as a anti-diarrhea and amla and harad trees both of which have their own medicinal value. Except these trees and herbs, you will also enjoy watching deer, sambhar, wild boar and if lucky may be the Big Cat TIGER OR LEOPARD on foot, with risky lone tusker. Just sitting for an hour at water hole will offer you some of the unforgettable moments of life.
• A short and peaceful walk at the brim of Kosi you encounter Katha trees (Acacia Catechu) whose wood is used to manufacture “Kathha” in Pan. This will be a peaceful and enchanting walk adjacent to the mountain and crystal clear river Kosi.

Narni to Corbett Fall Trek Approxi. 10 Km. thick jungle trek inside deciduous sal forest with hilly terrain. Here you will be crossing some of the most worth seeing remote and secluded spots of Kumaoni jungle. It ends at beautiful jade green water streams at Corbett Fall. Midway tempting meals, will be arranged by our naturalist guide accompanying you (for group only).
Garjia to Kunkhet Village Trek The most picturesque and remote trek. Here you will find yourself in deep & secluded jungle, where apart from wild life you can only listen the jungle sound. It ends at a beautiful and worth seeing village Kunkhet, surrounded by Kosi river and Parava forest. Here you will follow an old trek of British time.
Baurad Trek After taking car journey from The Wild Crest (up to 22 Km.), you will take a remote and beautiful worth seeing trek inside the deep forest. After crossing shallow water streams six to seven times on foot, you will be at wild Kumaoni village “Baurad” where villagers pass their life in totally remote circumstances. Here you will meet the Kumaoni villagers, study their way of life in hard and rigid circumstances and how do they protect themselves from the wild life. Midway picnic meals can also be offered inside the deep jungle, by The Wild Crest staff (for group only). |
