The best way to explore jungle is through the Elephant Safari. This elephant safari, in the periphery zones of Corbett Tiger Reserve takes you to mysterious thick forests, deep valleys, accompanied by the rhythmic scuff-scuff of elephant's feet and the creaks of its wooden howdah.

Elephant named “Ladali” a beloved elephant of The Wild Crest, is available at the resort through out the year.

Generally there are two visits done in a day, to resort's adjacent thick secluded and uninhabited sal forest of Corbett Park. One in the dawn time, 6 A.M. to 8 A.M. and another, in twilight time 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. Maximum four to five persons can be accommodated at a time on elephant's back.

ITINERARIES
Whole Day Elephant Back Safari in Corbett Park Early morning starts safari on elephant back. After visiting deep jungle at beautiful dawn time with jungle
round, hot breakfast by our English speaking guides will be offered, in secluded jungle adjacent to remote natural stream in virgin forest of Corbett National Park, facing your elephant, which gives you an unforgettable thrill. Again starts your ride to watch some wild life in jungle with exotic bird watching. At 1 P.M. in remote jungle, your jungle lunch will be offered by our naturalist guide, which you would definitely relish. After some trek in this uninhabited Jamun forest and relax adjacent to natural stream or water hole, back to resort by twilight time. Evening relax at resort sit, by the campfire, under the canopy of blue sky with full of stars, while the bar-be-que sizzles temptingly nearby. A cultural Kumaoni folk dance show (for group only) adds some exotic charm to this hectic day itinerary.

Two Days to One Week itinerary on Elephant Back

From two days to one week elephant back safari can also be organized with one to more elephants, in which guests can enjoy whole periphery area of Corbett Park, with good tempting and enchanting boarding mid ways in deep jungle and inside remote Kumaoni wild villagers huts, properly arranged by our English speaking experienced guides accompanying and assisting your elephant safari. Accommodation can be managed in beautifully located old British time Forest Rest Houses or in some local Kumaoni Himalayan wild villager's huts also, to offer you the complete local ambience with evening meeting and traditionally Kumaoni folk dance of these Kumoni wild villagers.

Starts from resort at dawn time, after crossing river Kosi on elephant back. Breakfast adjacent to stream in Pareva forest. Lunch also midway in calm remote virgin forest, where you can only hear the sound of jungle and wild life. Evening at Kunkhet remote wild village, surrounded by Kosi river and deep forest. Night stay in locally villagers' hygienic kachhi huts. Whole day in village with one good trek in adjacent Pareva forest. Meeting of remote villagers their old way of living etc. Evening kumaoni folk dance show with bon fire and open air Kumaoni Cousins Dinner, organized by villagers. Overnight at Kunkhet village in Kachhi huts of Kunkhet villagers.
